4。5 ⭐️Cute Christmas perfection!I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: Kasey Stockton is a Christmas rom-com QUEEN! Each new story is the perfect pick-me-up and expertly balanced with heart & humour。 Max & Rachael are a classic case of older brother’s best friend, and I love them。 And the chosen family scenario。。。 priceless。 🥹 Christmas came early, friends, and I’m not mad about it!

Does Kasey Stockton write the best chemistry? Why, yes, I think she just might。 Her books give me butterflies from chapter 1 and I am here for it。 I like her writing so much, I am very seriously considering reading her Scottish books。 (It's a bigger deal than it sounds like)I started this last night and wasnt at all upset when I accidentally woke up at 5:25a。 Max and Rachael were Hallmark channel adorable (but again, with better chemistry) and I was rooting for them from just the cover, truly。If Does Kasey Stockton write the best chemistry? A Christmas story that will make you laugh and give all the feels with some Christmas magic。 Basically, the Christmas movies we all love but without any cheesiness to make you roll or your eyes or groan。 As I read I could feel and relate to how each of the characters felt。 Oh, man the opening! I felt that awkwardness。 Lol I enjoyed the humor。 Reading this was fun。 I loved the time the families where at the cabin。 All the traditons and regular interactions were written well。 The story flowed so n A Christmas story that will make you laugh and give all the feels with some Christmas magic。 Basically, the Christmas movies we all love but without any cheesiness to make you roll or your eyes or groan。 As I read I could feel and relate to how each of the characters felt。 Oh, man the opening! Cabin Crush begins with one long ago holiday party where Rachael, a teen who has eyes on her brother’s best friend Max, dresses up like the Grinch for that costume party。 Mistletoe and her brother combine to orchestrate one green painted liplock, followed by a mean older girl making fun of the whole situation。 Fast forward 8 years and Rachael and Max’s families still spend a week at the cabin every Christmas, and Rachael is still as single as she was during that first grinchy kiss。 Life has been Cabin Crush begins with one long ago holiday party where Rachael, a teen who has eyes on her brother’s best friend Max, dresses up like the Grinch for that costume party。 Mistletoe and her brother combine to orchestrate one green painted liplock, followed by a mean older girl making fun of the whole situation。 Fast forward 8 years and Rachael and Max’s families still spend a week at the cabin every Christmas, and Rachael is still as single as she was during that first grinchy kiss。 Life has been a bit of a struggle, with work and finances never quite coming easy。 She’s ready to forget about real life for a week and just enjoy the holiday。 The family escapades and misadventures move merrily along while Max wrestles with a growing realization that the kiss he still remembers could have been the start of something great。 Has too much time passed, or is a second chance going to be under the tree for him and Rachael this year? This was a fun, sweet romance with complex characters and a lot of laughs。 。。。more

This is a warm fuzzy Christmas read。 Max and Racheal have know each other forever。 Their families are good friends。 The setting is Lake Tahoe。 Both Max and Racheal have a problem he/she are trying to work through and not burden their families with。 I love how they support each other and know each other so well。 I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the others in the series。
